Other complaints seen in the practice
Beyond the conditions above, clients also come with whiplash after-effects, torticollis, restricted head rotation, numbness and tingling in the limbs, complaints during and after pregnancy, jaw tension, tinnitus and, in children, delayed motor development or persistent poor posture. If your complaint is not listed, contact us and describe it. Dr. Wim will tell you honestly whether an atlas check is worthwhile.
How to know if the atlas is involved
A few signs that point to the atlas: a tight band at the base of the skull, your head turns further one way than the other, one shoulder sits higher, a tailor or physiotherapist has told you one leg is shorter, complaints started after a fall or accident, or treatments give relief that never lasts. Learn more on what the atlas is.
